If you’re still typing “Facebook UK” or “Facebook UK Login” into your browser bar, then you need to read this to find out how you can make logging into Facebook easier and quicker.
Now you’ve completed your Facebook Sign Up process, you’ll want to log in to your Facebook account and instead of typing “Facebook uk login” into either your browser URL bar or your search bar, simply save your Facebook UK Login page as a bookmark – Then all you need to do is to click the bookmark and you’ll be taken directly to the page!
How do I bookmark my Facebook UK Login page?
This depends on the flavour of browser you use, but for the purpose of this help page, I’ll cover adding a bookmark using the top three UK browsers, which are Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome.
Creating a Facebook Login UK bookmark in Firefox & Chrome
Firefox and Chrome’s bookmarking systems are fairly similar so I’ll cover them both together. To bookmark your Facebook UK Login page in Firefox or Chrome is pretty simple and I would imagine that most people are easily able to do complete this task.
With these two browsers the quickest methods of adding your Facebook UK Login page as a bookmark are as follows:
Pressing CTRL and then whilst holding CTRL, press D
When you do this then the bookmark window will open and you’ll be able to give the bookmark a name to remind you what it’s for – something along the lines of “Facebook UK Login” will be ideal. Once you’ve named your bookmark, you can also create a separate bookmark folder if you like which will enable you to organise your bookmarks into relevant groups.
Clicking the “Star” in the Browser URL Bar
This has the same effect as pressing CTRL + D in the above example. Below you’ll see two images with the area highlighted by a red box:
Firefox Only – Dragging your tab to the Bookmark Bar
This is exactly what it sounds like. If you are using Firefox, then you can click on the tab you want to bookmark and then whilst still holding down your mouse button you can drag the tab to the bookmark bar.
Facebook UK Login – Bookmarking with Internet Explorer
If you’re still using Internet Explorer, then first of all I’d suggest you look at moving to either Firefox or Chrome.
Why? Both of these competing web browsers are faster and usually more secure than Internet Explorer and although Microsoft are catching up to the other two, they are still lagging behind in terms of features, usability and security, but that’s something else to talk about another time…
Internet Explorer (let’s call it IE from now on) uses “Favourites” instead of Bookmarks, but they are essentially the same thing. They can be accessed by either pressing CTRL + D as detailed above or by clicking the “Star” icon in the top right of the browser window:
And that’s it!
Now you can add a Bookmark or Favourite to your browser, not only for your Facebook UK Login page, but also for lots of your other frequently visited or favourite websites and pages!
Wow, anyone got any quicker or easier ways to bookmark webpages? Tell us about it!
